Durenberger, Dave [R-MN] MN R D000566 6 Midwest Dairy Equity Act - Amends the Agricultural Adjustment Act, reenacted with amendments by the Agricultural Marketing Agreement Act of 1937, to establish: (1) a uniform class I milk price adjustment of $1.80 per hundredweight for all marketing areas; and (2) the minimum fluid beverage milk price at $13.20 per hundredweight. Directs the Secretary of Agriculture to: (1) study and report to the appropriate congressional committees on the desirability and effects of fortifying beverage milk with nonfat solids; and (2) establish manufacturing allowances of $1.37 per hundredweight of milk for butter and nonfat dry milk, and $1.52 per hundredweight for cheese. 2025-08-26T15:13:38Z
