[R-CT-6] CT R J000163 25 Senior Home Care Choice Fairness and Improvement Act of 1992 - Amends title XIX (Medicaid) of the Social Security Act (SSA) to: (1) provide for the application of Medicaid spousal impoverishment rules to spouses of individuals receiving home- or community-based services; (2) increase the number of individuals allowed to receive such services; and (3) require hospitals to inform Medicaid patients of the availability of home care services and, in a State operating under a waiver program, to inform them of the availability of home- and community-based services. Mirrors such requirement with respect to Medicare (SSA title XVIII) patients. 2025-08-26T15:14:58Z
