Wyden, Ron [D-OR-3] OR D W000779 26 Petroleum Marketing Practices Act Amendments of 1991 - Amends the Petroleum Marketing Practices Act to modify the definition of "contract" to include any contract between specified parties which is economically necessary to the operation of the franchise. Preempts conflicting or irreconcilable provisions of State law. Provides that the termination or non-renewal of a franchise relationship, upon expiration of an underlying lease for marketing premises, is reasonable if specified conditions exist. Declares unenforceable certain supply restrictions contained in franchise contracts between a refiner and a retailer, or a refiner and a distributor. 2025-08-26T15:13:34Z
