Edwards, Mickey [R-OK-5] OK R E000077 0 Prohibits: (1) the number of personal staff positions available to each Member of Congress from exceeding the number of positions available at the end of the First Session of the 102d Congress; and (2) the number of employee positions or amount of funding for them available to a House or Senate committee from exceeding 70 percent of the number of positions or funding available at the end of the First Session of the 102d Congress. Mandates phase-in of such limitations so that one-third of the required reductions shall be achieved in each of the three sessions of the Congress beginning with the First Session of the 103d Congress.
