101-s-730 101 s 730 A bill to request the President to award gold medals on behalf of Congress to Frank Capra, James M. Stewart, and Fred Zinnemann, and to provide for the production of bronze duplicates of such medals for sale to the public. Coats, Daniel [R-IN] IN R C000542 20 Authorizes the President to present gold medals, on behalf of the Congress, to each of the following individuals in recognition of their contributions to this Nation's cultural heritage: (1) Frank Capra; (2) James Stewart; and (3) Fred Zinnemann. Requires the Secretary of the Treasury to design a different gold medal for each such individual. Authorizes appropriations. Authorizes the Secretary to strike and sell bronze duplicates of such medals at a price sufficient to cover the costs of such duplicates and the gold medals. Requires the appropriations to be reimbursed out of the sales proceeds. Designates all such medals as National Medals. 2025-01-14T18:20:21Z
