[R-KS] | KS | R | D000401 | 1 | Sex Discrimination in the United States Code Reform Act of 1990 - Title I: Uniformed Services and Merchant Marine - Amends Federal law dealing with the Uniform Code of Military Justice, the Army, the Navy, the Air Force, the armed forces generally, the Soldiers' and Sailors' Civil Relief Act of 1940, pension allotments of soldiers' home inmates, and miscellaneous amendments relating to the uniformed services to eliminate gender-based distinctions. Title II: Elimination of Gender-Based Distinctions Under the Social Security Act and the Railroad Retirement Act - Eliminates gender-based distinctions in the social security and railroad retirement provisions. Title III: Miscellaneous Amendments - Amends the following Acts or programs to eliminate gender-based distinctions: (1) Federal employee benefits; (2) the Immigration and Nationality Act; (3) the Walsh-Healey Act; (4) child nutrition; (5) Indian affairs; (6) the Federal criminal code; (7) U.S. Court administration; (8) civil rights; (9) the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration; (10) the National Housing Act; (11) the Trademark Act of 1946; (12) U.S. territories; (13) the Federal Mine Safety and Health Act of 1977; (14) the Longshore and Harbor Workers' Compensation Act; (15) conservation; (16) internee benefits; (17) spouses of former Presidents; and (18) the Internal Revenue Code.
