[D-NY-13] | NY | D | S000673 | 0 | Public Disclosure of Religious Dietary Certification Act - Amends the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act to deem a food to be misbranded if its label bears a religious dietary certification symbol and there is not on file with the Secretary of Health and Human Services, available for public inspection, a copy of: (1) a certification letter, signed by a certifying authority, declaring that in his or her opinion the food conforms to religious dietary standards; and (2) a public disclosure statement providing specified information concerning the food, its manufacturer or processor, and the certifying authority.
