McCloskey, Frank [D-IN-8] IN D M000342 36 Defense Budgeting and Full-Cost Disclosure Act of 1990 - Requires the total life-cycle cost (costs of development, procurement, construction, operation, maintenance, and support) of a major defense acquisition program to be included in Selected Acquisition Reports required for such programs. Requires the Secretary of Defense to implement such cost criteria in a uniform manner throughout the Department of Defense. Allows a defense funds restoral (a restoration of funds to an appropriation account of the Department) to be carried out only during the first fiscal year following the end of the period of availability for obligation of the funds to be restored. Requires the Secretary to report to the Congress on the feasibility of the periodic submission of reports on anticipated termination costs of major defense acquisition programs. 2025-08-26T17:28:32Z
