Owens, Wayne [D-UT-2] UT D O000156 5 Amends the Solid Waste Disposal Act to authorize a State to: (1) prohibit the transportation into the State of hazardous waste generated outside the State; (2) prohibit the treatment, storage, or disposal within the State of such waste; and (3) levy fees on such waste or on hazardous waste transporters. Prohibits a State from levying a fee for the treatment, storage, or disposal of such waste that is less than the maximum fee levied by the generating State for a similar quantity of waste. 2024-02-05T14:30:09Z
