(Sonny) [D-MS-3] MS D M000865 1 Act for the Use and Disposition of Designated VA Facilities - Authorizes the Secretary of Veterans Affairs to enter into enhanced-use agreements (a written agreement for the use of a Department of Veterans Affairs facility consistent with the Department's mission in return for the payment of consideration to the Department) with respect to designated facilities and to direct the disposal of such facilities. Requires cash received as such consideration to be deposited into the Enhanced-Use Fund. Requires notice of designation to be provided by the Secretary to the Veterans' Affairs Committees 30 days prior to entering into such agreements. Authorizes the Secretary to direct the disposal of such a facility by requesting the Administrator of General Services to perform a special disposition. Terminates the authority to enter into enhanced-use agreements on September 30, 1993. 2025-08-26T17:24:41Z
