Meyers, Jan [R-KS-3] KS R M000684 11 Directs the Administrator of the U.S. Fire Administration to review existing response information used by emergency response personnel at the State and local levels to evaluate its accuracy, consistency, and clarity. Specifies that such information should clearly communicate to such personnel the probable hazards in an emergency situation involving hazardous materials and the appropriate response to such hazards. Directs the Administrator to establish a working group to develop and disseminate hazardous materials identification, response, and incident data. Requires such working group to submit a report to the Administrator, along with recommendations to ensure that response information disseminated to emergency response personnel is appropriate for operational personnel at the local level. Requires the working group to meet at least once a year to review and recommend changes to the report. 2024-02-07T15:21:41Z
