Upton, Fred [R-MI-4] MI R U000031 20 Requires the Secretary of the Army, when maintaining, repairing, rehabilitating, or reconstructing a water resources project which will result in a change in its configuration, to carry out construction in a manner which will not adversely affect any recreational use. Directs the Secretary to take action as necessary to restore recreational use or provide alternative opportunities for comparable recreational use, if maintenance, repair, rehabilitation, or reconstruction of a water resources project results in a change in the configuration of such project and has an adverse effect on a recreational use. Requires the Secretary to cooperate and consult with the affected Federal, State, and local governments and local interests. 2024-02-07T16:02:17Z
