| E8-28850 | Notice of Opportunity To Comment on Model Safety Evaluation on Technical Specification Improvement To Relocate Surveillance Frequencies to Licensee Control-Risk-Informed Technical Specification Task Force (RITSTF) Initiative 5b, Technical Specification Task Force-425, Revision 2 | Notice | The U. S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) has prepared a model license amendment request (LAR), model safety evaluation (SE), and model no significant hazards consideration (NSHC) determination. These are related to changes to standard technical specifications (STS) for Technical Specification Task Force (TSTF)--425, Rev. 2, "Relocate Surveillance Frequencies to Licensee Control--RITSTF Initiative 5b," (Agencywide Documents Access Management System (ADAMS) Accession No. ML080280275). The purpose of these models is to permit the NRC to efficiently process amendments that propose to relocate TS surveillance frequencies. Licensees of nuclear power reactors could then request amendments, confirming the applicability of the safety evaluation and NSHC determination to their reactors. The NRC staff is requesting comment on the model safety evaluation and model NSHC determination prior to announcing their availability for referencing in license amendment applications. | 2008-12-05 | 2008 | 12 | https://www.federalregister.gov/documents/2008/12/05/E8-28850/notice-of-opportunity-to-comment-on-model-safety-evaluation-on-technical-specification-improvement | https://www.govinfo.gov/content/pkg/FR-2008-12-05/pdf/E8-28850.pdf | Nuclear Regulatory Commission | 383 | The U.
