E8-27437 Hours of Service of Drivers Rule FMCSA adopts as final the provisions of the Agency's December 17, 2007, interim final rule concerning hours of service (HOS) for commercial motor vehicle (CMV) drivers. This final rule allows CMV drivers to continue to drive up to 11 hours within a 14-hour, non- extendable window from the start of the workday, following at least 10 consecutive hours off duty (11-hour rule).
