E8-24476 Service Quality, Customer Satisfaction, Infrastructure and Operating Data Gathering Proposed Rule In the Notice of Proposed Rulemaking (NPRM), the Federal Communications Commission (Commission) recognizes that it has continually sought to ensure that it has access to the data necessary for its public safety and broadband policymaking, and that certain infrastructure and operating data might be useful, but only if collected on an industry-wide basis from all relevant facilities-based providers of broadband and/or telecommunications. In addition, the Commission recognizes that certain service quality and customer satisfaction data might be useful, but only if collected on an industry-wide basis from all relevant facilities-based providers of broadband and/or telecommunications.
