| E8-12749 | Airworthiness Directives; Boeing Model 757 Airplanes | Proposed Rule | We propose to adopt a new airworthiness directive (AD) for all Boeing Model 757 airplanes. This proposed AD would require performing repetitive operational tests of the engine fuel suction feed of the fuel system, and other related testing if necessary. This proposed AD results from a report of in-service occurrences of loss of fuel system suction feed capability, followed by total loss of pressure of the fuel feed system. We are proposing this AD to detect and correct failure of the engine fuel suction feed of the fuel system, which could result in dual engine flameout, inability to restart the engines, and consequent forced landing of the airplane. | 2008-06-06 | 2008 | 6 | https://www.federalregister.gov/documents/2008/06/06/E8-12749/airworthiness-directives-boeing-model-757-airplanes | https://www.govinfo.gov/content/pkg/FR-2008-06-06/pdf/E8-12749.pdf | Transportation Department; Federal Aviation Administration | 492,159 | We propose to adopt a new airworthiness directive (AD) for all Boeing Model 757 airplanes.
