| E7-20932 | Lender Oversight Program | Proposed Rule | SBA is proposing a rule to incorporate SBA's risk-based lender oversight program into SBA regulations. Specifically, the proposed rule would establish the role and responsibilities of SBA's Office of Credit Risk Management within a new subpart of the business loan regulations. It would codify in SBA regulations SBA's process of risk-based oversight including: (i) Accounting and reporting requirements; (ii) off-site reviews/monitoring; (iii) on-site reviews and examinations; and iv) capital adequacy requirements. The proposed rule would also list the types of, grounds for, and procedures governing SBA enforcement actions within consolidated enforcement regulations for all 7(a) Lenders, Certified Development Companies, Microloan Intermediaries, and Non-Lending Technical Assistance Providers. This rule is necessary to provide coordinated and effective oversight of financial institutions that originate and manage SBA guaranteed loans. | 2007-10-31 | 2007 | 10 | https://www.federalregister.gov/documents/2007/10/31/E7-20932/lender-oversight-program | https://www.govinfo.gov/content/pkg/FR-2007-10-31/pdf/E7-20932.pdf | Small Business Administration | 468 | SBA is proposing a rule to incorporate SBA's risk-based lender oversight program into SBA regulations.
