E6-18401 Broadcast Services; Children's Television; Cable Operators Rule This document resolves a number of issues regarding the obligation of television broadcasters to protect and serve children in their audience. The document addresses matters related to two areas: the obligation of television broadcast licensees to provide educational and informational programming for children and the requirement that television broadcast licensees protect children from excessive and inappropriate commercial messages.
