E5-8245 National Forest System Land Management Planning Proposed Rule The Forest Service is proposing a technical change to the transition language contained in the 2005 planning rule (70 FR 1023; Jan. 5, 2005). The current transition language requires plan revisions initiated after January 5, 2005, to conform to the requirements in the 2005 planning rule.
