2024-09538 Safety Zone; Vineyard Wind 1 Wind Farm Project Area, Outer Continental Shelf, Lease OCS-A 0501, Offshore Massachusetts, Atlantic Ocean Rule The Coast Guard is extending the effective period for the 63 temporary 500-meter safety zones around the construction of each facility during the development of the Vineyard Wind 1 Wind Farm project area within federal waters on the Outer Continental Shelf, approximately 12 nautical miles offshore of Martha's Vineyard, Massachusetts. This rule extends the effective period of the existing safety zones for an additional two years. The safety zones will now end on May 31, 2026.
