The Committee has been a successful undertaking by the FDIC and has provided valuable feedback to the agency on a broad range of policy regarding the regulation of state-chartered financial institutions throughout the United States. The Committee will continue to provide a forum where state regulators and the FDIC can discuss a variety of current and emerging issues that have potential implications regarding the regulation and supervision of state-chartered financial institutions. The structure and responsibilities of the Committee are unchanged from when it was originally established in December 2019.
