2021-19795 Tip Regulations Under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA); Partial Withdrawal Rule In December 2020, the Department promulgated a final rule (2020 Tip final rule) to amend its tip regulations to address the Consolidated Appropriations Act of 2018 (CAA) amendments to section 3(m) of the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), among other things. In this final rule, the Department withdraws two portions of the 2020 Tip final rule that have not yet gone into effect addressing civil money penalties (CMPs) and finalizes proposed changes to those portions of the 2020 Tip final rule.
