The Air Traffic Service (ATS) route modifications are necessary due to the planned decommissioning of the VOR portion of the Macon, MO, VOR/ Distance Measuring Equipment (VOR/DME) navigational aid (NAVAID). With the exception of RNAV route T-397, the Macon VOR/DME NAVAID provides navigation guidance for portions of the affected air traffic service (ATS) routes.
