2020-18294 National Voluntary Laboratory Accreditation Program-Amendment to the Procedures and Requirements To Accredit Testing and Calibration Laboratories Rule The Director of the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) is issuing a final rule amending the regulations pertaining to the operation of the National Voluntary Laboratory Accreditation Program (NVLAP) and the operation of its accreditation programs. The regulations are being revised to include recognition of proficiency testing as an accreditation activity, add or revise terms, and update NVLAP mailing information, in accordance with the applicable international standard.
