2019-12997 Exelon Generation Company, LLC; Oyster Creek Nuclear Generating Station Notice The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) is reissuing an exemption, originally approved on December 19, 2018, that exempted Exelon Generation Company, LLC (Exelon or the licensee) for Oyster Creek Nuclear Generating Station (Oyster Creek) to reduce the minimum insurance coverage limit from $1.06 billion to $50 million. The December 19, 2018, exemption originally had an effective date of 12 months (365 days) from the certification of permanent cessation of power operations.
