The exemption would allow NorthStar VY to use up to $20 million in funds from the Vermont Yankee Nuclear Power Station (VY) nuclear decommissioning trust fund (NDT), on a revolving basis, for irradiated fuel management activities. By Order dated October 11, 2018, the NRC approved the request for the direct and indirect transfer of VY Renewed Facility Operating License No. DPR-28.
