In the DATES section of the Notice of availability, the effective date of the 2016.1 PREP Guidelines is October 1, 2018. However, in Section 1.3, page 1-2, of the 2016.1 PREP Guidelines, the effective date is "60 days after the date of publication in the Federal Register." The Coast Guard has corrected Section 1.3 of the 2016.1 PREP Guidelines to reflect the effective date is "October 1, 2018."
