2018-07653 OMB Final Sequestration Report to the President and Congress for Fiscal Year 2018 Notice OMB is issuing its Final Sequestration Report to the President and Congress for FY 2018 to report on compliance of enacted 2018 discretionary appropriations legislation with the discretionary caps. The report includes adjustments to the 2018 and 2019 caps for changes in the Bipartisan Budget Act of 2018 and it finds that enacted appropriations are within those discretionary caps for 2018. As a result, a sequestration of discretionary budget authority is not required in 2018.
