This AD was prompted by a report that a jammed control cable prevented the full extension of the nose landing gear (LG). This AD requires a general visual inspection of the LG handle teleflex cable conduit connector for the presence of a grease nipple, a maintenance records check of affected airplanes, a detailed inspection for corrosion and damage of the LG handle teleflex cable, and corrective actions if necessary. This AD also requires revising the maintenance or inspection program, as applicable.
