2018-00029 Adequacy Status of Motor Vehicle Emissions Budgets in Submitted PM2.5 Serious Area Plan for South Coast; California Notice The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA or "Agency") is notifying the public that the Agency has found that the motor vehicle emissions budgets (MVEBs or "budgets") for the years 2017 and 2019 in the 2016 South Coast Serious Area Plan for the 2006 24-hour fine particulate matter (PM<INF>2.5</INF>) National Ambient Air Quality Standards (NAAQS) ("2016 PM<INF>2.5</INF> Plan" or "Plan") are adequate for transportation conformity purposes. The California Air Resources Board (CARB) submitted the 2016 PM<INF>2.5</INF> Plan to the EPA on April 27, 2017, as a revision to the California State Implementation Plan (SIP).
