2017-16667 Airworthiness Directives; Embraer S.A. Airplanes Rule We are superseding Airworthiness Directive (AD) 2012-23-09, which applied to all Embraer S.A. Model ERJ 190-100 STD, -100 LR, and - 100 IGW airplanes; and Model ERJ 190-200 STD, -200 LR, and -200 IGW airplanes. AD 2012-23-09 required revising the maintenance program to incorporate certain modifications in airworthiness limitations. This new AD requires revising the maintenance or inspection program to incorporate certain modifications in the airworthiness limitations to include new inspection tasks and their respective thresholds and intervals. This AD was prompted by our determination that more restrictive maintenance requirements and airworthiness limitations are necessary.
