2017-09886 Promoting Technological Solutions To Combat Contraband Wireless Device Use in Correctional Facilities Proposed Rule In this document, the Federal Communications Commission seeks additional comment on a broad range of steps the Commission can take to help eliminate the problem of contraband wireless devices in correctional facilities. In particular, the Commission proposes a process for wireless providers to disable contraband wireless devices once they have been identified.
