2016-31752 Onshore Oil and Gas Operations; Federal and Indian Oil and Gas Leases; Onshore Oil and Gas Order Number 1, Approval of Operations Rule The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) hereby amends its existing Onshore Oil and Gas Order Number 1 (Onshore Order 1) to require the electronic filing (or e-filing) of all Applications for Permit to Drill (APD) and Notices of Staking (NOS). This change makes e-filing the required method of submission, subject to limited exceptions. The BLM is making this change to improve the efficiency and transparency of the APD and NOS processes. 2017-01-10 2017 1 https://www.federalregister.gov/documents/2017/01/10/2016-31752/onshore-oil-and-gas-operations-federal-and-indian-oil-and-gas-leases-onshore-oil-and-gas-order https://www.govinfo.gov/content/pkg/FR-2017-01-10/pdf/2016-31752.pdf Interior Department; Land Management Bureau 253,275 The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) hereby amends its existing Onshore Oil and Gas Order Number 1 (Onshore Order 1) to require the electronic filing (or e-filing) of all Applications for Permit to Drill (APD) and Notices of Staking (NOS).
