2016-25351 Airworthiness Directives; Bombardier, Inc. Airplanes Proposed Rule We propose to supersede Airworthiness Directive (AD) 2014-23- 06, for certain Bombardier, Inc. Model CL-600-2B19 (Regional Jet Series 100 & 440) airplanes. AD 2014-23-06 currently requires modifying the main landing gear (MLG) by installing a new bracket on the left and right lower aft-wing planks. Since we issued AD 2014-23-06, we have determined that it is necessary to require a different modification of the MLG. This proposed AD would require modification of the MLG with an improved design. We are proposing this AD to prevent incorrect installation of the brake hydraulic lines, which could cause the brakes and the anti-skid system to operate incorrectly, and result in catastrophic failure of the airplane during a high-speed rejected takeoff. 2016-10-24 2016 10 https://www.federalregister.gov/documents/2016/10/24/2016-25351/airworthiness-directives-bombardier-inc-airplanes https://www.govinfo.gov/content/pkg/FR-2016-10-24/pdf/2016-25351.pdf Transportation Department; Federal Aviation Administration 492,159 We propose to supersede Airworthiness Directive (AD) 2014-23- 06, for certain Bombardier, Inc.
