2016-24925 Amendments To Implement Grants Provisions of the Fixing America's Surface Transportation Act Rule The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) adopts, as final, certain regulations required by the Fixing America's Surface Transportation Act (FAST Act) enacted on December 4, 2015. The involved statutory changes went into effect on October 1, 2016, and require that FMCSA make conforming changes to its regulations to ensure they are current and consistent with the statutory requirements.
