2016-23983 Clearing Requirement Determination Under Section 2(h) of the Commodity Exchange Act for Interest Rate Swaps Rule The Commodity Futures Trading Commission (Commission or CFTC) is adopting an amendment to the Commission's regulations to expand the existing clearing requirement for interest rate swaps pursuant to the pertinent section of the Commodity Exchange Act (CEA).
