2016-22754 Endangered and Threatened Wildlife and Plants; Endangered Species Status for Sonoyta Mud Turtle Proposed Rule We, the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (Service), propose to list the Sonoyta mud turtle (Kinosternon sonoriense longifemorale), a native subspecies from Arizona in the United States and Sonora in Mexico, as an endangered species under the Endangered Species Act (Act). If we finalize this rule as proposed, it would extend the Act's protections to this subspecies.
