2016-19132 Disposition of HUD-Acquired Single Family Properties; Updating HUD's Single Family Property Disposition Regulations Rule This final rule revises HUD's property disposition regulations. Specifically, this rule consolidates and reorganizes these regulations to better reflect industry standards, and allow HUD to conduct its Single Family Property Disposition Program more efficiently and effectively so that HUD can obtain the greatest value for its real estate-owned (REO) properties in different market conditions. This final rule follows publication of the October 2, 2015, proposed rule and, after considering public comments submitted in response to the proposed rule, adopts the proposed rule with minor change. 2016-08-11 2016 8 https://www.federalregister.gov/documents/2016/08/11/2016-19132/disposition-of-hud-acquired-single-family-properties-updating-huds-single-family-property https://www.govinfo.gov/content/pkg/FR-2016-08-11/pdf/2016-19132.pdf Housing and Urban Development Department 228 This final rule revises HUD's property disposition regulations.
