Under the Paperwork Reduction Act, Federal Agencies are required to publish notice in the Federal Register concerning proposed information collection revisions and allow 60 days for public comment in response to the notice. An agency may not conduct or sponsor, and a respondent is not required to respond to, an information collection unless it displays a currently valid Office of Management and Budget (OMB) control number.
