2014-12582 Final Priority; Foreign Language and Area Studies Fellowships Program Rule The Acting Assistant Secretary for Postsecondary Education announces a priority under the Foreign Language and Area Studies Fellowships (FLAS) Program administered by the International and Foreign Language Education (IFLE) Office. The Assistant Secretary may use this priority for competitions in fiscal year (FY) 2014 and later years. We take this action to lower postsecondary education costs for students in the United States who have financial need and who seek to become language and area studies experts.
