2013-31450 Airworthiness Directives; Embraer S.A. Airplanes Rule We are adopting a new airworthiness directive (AD) for certain Embraer S.A. Model ERJ 170 and ERJ 190 airplanes. This AD was prompted by reports of failures of the emergency slide on the forward passenger door, which prevented the door from opening. This AD requires repetitive re-packing of certain forward door escape slides.
