2013-14883 Proposed Agency Information Collection Activities: Submission for OMB Review; Comment Request Re Application for Consent To Reduce or Retire Capital Notice The FDIC, as part of its continuing effort to reduce paperwork and respondent burden, invites the general public and other Federal agencies to take this opportunity, as required by the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995 (4 U.S.C. chapter 35), to comment on renewal of an existing information collection as required by the PRA. On April 16, 2012 (78 FR 22544), the FDIC solicited public comment for a 60-day period on renewal without change of its "Application for Consent to Reduce or Retire Capital" information collection (OMB No. 3064-0079). One comment was received. The commenter expressed support for the information collection as necessary for the FDIC's performance of its statutory functions.
