Including Japan in the negotiations furthers the objective of achieving a high-standard, broad-based Asia-Pacific regional agreement. In order to develop U.S. negotiating positions, the Office of the United States Trade Representative (USTR) is seeking comments from the public on all issues related to Japan's participation in the TPP negotiations.
