CRC's proposed project includes a new fixed bridge that will cross the Columbia River adjacent to the existing Interstate 5 bridge connecting Portland, Oregon and Vancouver, Washington. This new fixed bridge will provide 116 feet of vertical clearance above Columbia River Datum to accommodate waterway users. In addition to vehicular, bicycle, and pedestrian traffic, the proposed bridge will carry a light rail line that will extend Portland's light rail service into Vancouver, Washington.
