2013-07500 Airworthiness Directives; Diamond Aircraft Industries GmbH Airplanes Rule We are adopting a new airworthiness directive (AD) for Diamond Aircraft Industries GmbH Models DA 42, DA 42 M-NG, and DA 42NG airplanes. This AD results from mandatory continuing airworthiness information (MCAI) issued by an aviation authority of another country to identify and correct an unsafe condition on an aviation product. The MCAI describes the unsafe condition as overextension of the main landing gear (MLG) shock absorber that could lead to the MLG jamming in the gear bay and result in damage to the aircraft or occupant injury. We are issuing this AD to require actions to address the unsafe condition on these products. 2013-04-15 2013 4 https://www.federalregister.gov/documents/2013/04/15/2013-07500/airworthiness-directives-diamond-aircraft-industries-gmbh-airplanes https://www.govinfo.gov/content/pkg/FR-2013-04-15/pdf/2013-07500.pdf Transportation Department; Federal Aviation Administration 492,159 We are adopting a new airworthiness directive (AD) for Diamond Aircraft Industries GmbH Models DA 42, DA 42 M-NG, and DA 42NG airplanes.
