2012-8991 Revision of the Commission's Program Access Rules Proposed Rule In this document, the Commission seeks comment on whether to retain, sunset, or relax one of the several protections afforded to multichannel video programming distributors by the program access rules--the prohibition on exclusive contracts involving satellite- delivered, cable-affiliated programming. The current exclusive contract prohibition is scheduled to expire on October 5, 2012.
