2012-27126 Airworthiness Directives; Airbus Airplanes Proposed Rule We propose to supersede an existing airworthiness directive (AD) that applies to all Airbus Model A300 and A310 series airplanes; and Model A300 B4-600, B4-600R, and F4-600R series airplanes, and Model A300 C4-605R Variant F airplanes (collectively called A300-600 series airplanes). The existing AD currently requires revising the Airworthiness Limitations section of the Instructions for Continued Airworthiness to incorporate new and revised structural inspections and inspection intervals. Since we issued that AD, Airbus has revised certain ALI documents, which require more restrictive maintenance requirements and airworthiness limitations. This proposed AD would revise the maintenance program to incorporate the limitations section. We are proposing this AD to prevent fatigue cracking, damage, or corrosion in principal structural elements, which could result in reduced structural integrity of the airplane. 2012-11-07 2012 11 https://www.federalregister.gov/documents/2012/11/07/2012-27126/airworthiness-directives-airbus-airplanes https://www.govinfo.gov/content/pkg/FR-2012-11-07/pdf/2012-27126.pdf Transportation Department; Federal Aviation Administration 492,159 We propose to supersede an existing airworthiness directive (AD) that applies to all Airbus Model A300 and A310 series airplanes; and Model A300 B4-600, B4-600R, and F4-600R series airplanes, and Model A300 C4-605R Variant F airplanes (collectively...
