2012-26263 Airworthiness Directives; Embraer S.A. Airplanes Proposed Rule We propose to adopt a new airworthiness directive (AD) for certain Embraer S.A. Model ERJ 170 and ERJ 190 airplanes. This proposed AD was prompted by reports of failures of the emergency slide on the forward passenger door, which prevented the door from opening. This proposed AD would require repetitive re-packing of certain forward door escape slides.
