2012-19773 Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program: Farm Bill of 2008 Retailer Sanctions Proposed Rule The Department is proposing changes to the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) (formerly the Food Stamp Program) retailer sanction regulations in accordance with amendments made to Sections 7, 9, and 12 of the Food and Nutrition Act of 2008 ("the Act") by the Food, Conservation, and Energy Act of 2008, Public Law 110-246 ("the 2008 Farm Bill").
