| 2012-12539 | Connect America Fund; High-Cost Universal Service Support | Rule | In this order, the Wireline Competition Bureau (Bureau) adopts the methodology for establishing reasonable limits on recovery of capital costs and operating expenses or "benchmarks" for high cost loop support (HCLS). These changes significantly improve the methodology while redistributing funding to a greater number of carriers to support continued broadband investment. The methodology the Bureau adopts today is described in detail in a technical appendix to the order. | 2012-05-23 | 2012 | 5 | https://www.federalregister.gov/documents/2012/05/23/2012-12539/connect-america-fund-high-cost-universal-service-support | https://www.govinfo.gov/content/pkg/FR-2012-05-23/pdf/2012-12539.pdf | Federal Communications Commission | 161 | In this order, the Wireline Competition Bureau (Bureau) adopts the methodology for establishing reasonable limits on recovery of capital costs and operating expenses or "benchmarks" for high cost loop support (HCLS).
